Off the Beaten Track

Dunedin is a small city sure to impress visitors with a wealth of attractions from wildlife to culture. The drive to Oamaru with its historic precinct and penquins is fascinating, then inland to the towns of Wanaka and Queenstown.

Take a scenic flight to Milford Sound to save time and then return via the deep south's Southern Scenic Route past wild beaches and small rural towns.

Depart Dunedin to Oamaru - 1 hour 20 minutes, 115 km

Travel to the Oamaru via the Northern Motor Way past scenic coastal views.
