How do I get there?

Lake Wanaka is easily accessible by road with national highways dissecting the town either from the West or East Coast. There are daily direct flights from Christchurch to Wanaka. Domestic and winter season Australian flights land at Queenstown airport and regular bus services to Wanaka take in the scenic and historical journey over the Crown Range Road. Regular coach services link Wanaka with neighbouring Queenstown and daily to Dunedin, Christchurch and Invercargill.
