Spring is one of the most unique seasons in Wānaka. At altitude on the ski resorts, Spring corn skiing is in full swing – and don’t be afraid to break out that retro ski outfit!

In the valley lows, the days are starting to get longer and many walks, hikes and bike tracks are accessible again. The lake also begins to warm up and those brave enough, take to the waters for activities.

The Spring season in Wānaka runs from the beginning of September to the end of November, with an average temperature of 17°C.
