Operator Information

The Newcastle Track, a 12.5kms walking and cycling track, is located on the true left bank of the Clutha River. Entrance/ exit from the Hāwea River Swing bridge near Albert Town and Kane Road car park above the Red Bridge. The project, an initiative by the Upper Clutha Tracks Trust in partnership with the Wānaka Bike Club and DOC, will provide an impressive and strategic addition to the cycling network in the Upper Clutha.
