A boutique vineyard on the Wānaka-Luggate Highway, with a beautiful garden and a shabby chic tasting room and bar. Founded by Chris and Jackie Paddon with the help of their children, the first Paddons Paddock vines were planted in 2014. The Paddons family now produce exceptional Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Rosé and Sauvingon Gris, handpicked with love. Stop in for a tasting, enjoy live music in the garden, or book the venue for your party, function or wedding.
The vines are nestled amongst a stunning vista of scenic mountain views and mature trees, which, combined with the rustic yet modern interior and friendly staff makes this small winery the perfect spot for a glass of wine, cold beer, soft drink or light meal. Paddons Paddock is open all year-round, with a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. Live music events run on Sundays every second or third week throughout the summer months, featuring a range of local bands performing on the Paddons Paddock event stage.
The wine bar and tasting room is open all year-round. Tasting includes four different locally made Paddons Paddock wines for $10, or free of charge when you buy your favorite bottle. There is also a range of beers and non-alcoholic options, plus platters, pizzas and snacks on offer.
Located five minutes from Wānaka’s town centre or 50 minutes by car from Queenstown.
