Owned and run by meat-loving locals, The Butcher's Block and Smokehouse offers a wide array of fresh meat cuts and handmade small goods like ham, bacon, sausages and award-winning salami.
We source prime grass-fed beef and lamb from a Lake Hawea farmer who is every bit as passionate about quality meat as we are. These fine animals are turned into delicious roasts, chops, steaks, mince and other cuts ready for you to cook and enjoy.
We are fortunate to have an excellent source of wild, local venison, and a long-standing relationship with an ethical pork farmer who raises prime, free-farmed pigs. Our chicken is sourced from New Zealand's top chicken supplier.
