Like little wedding cake toppers, Pete & Nadia almost steal the spotlight from the grand backdrops in Wanaka
Pete and Nadia share their stories, secrets and tips on their beautiful Summer wedding in Wanaka.
Pete and I just love Wanaka, it's a special place in both our hearts. It is where we met, where our closest friends are and have always called it home.
My favourite part of the day was 100% the helicopter ride up to Fog Peak. It was really special spending time with Pete following saying our I do’s. The stunning scenery just blew me away, it was such a mix of happy emotions all at once, a feeling that I will cherish forever.
Have a couple wines before the ceremony, it calms the nerves and lets you relax - enjoying all the hype in the lead up to the ceremony.
We chose February due to the consistency of sunny days, our ceremony was outside so we wanted to try minimise any chance of rain.
Don't forget to stop planning a few days ahead of the day, making time to enjoy all the adventure Wanaka offers. It will likely be the only time ever you will get all your closest family and friends in your most favourite place.
