5. Snow Fun Zone

The dedicated Snow Fun Zone at Snow Farm is a great place to have some fun in the snow. Throw snowballs, build snowmen and make snow angels then head over to the Tubing Hill for as much fun as you can handle!

6. Overnight in a back-country hut

An overnight adventure in a back-country hut is an experience not to be missed but planning and preparation are key to a safe trip. Snow Farm has three back-country huts which have gas cookers, log burners and firewood as well as a small range of cooking and cutlery equipment. Bookings are essential.

8. Ice driving

Experience first-hand the thrill of driving on expertly prepared snow and ice tracks with highly qualified instructors in luxury European cars. Southern Hemisphere Proving Ground is the only place in the Southern Hemisphere where you can experience ice driving!

9. Glacier landings

With over 100 permanent glaciers in the mountains surrounding Wanaka, a scenic flight with a glacier landing is easy. This option allows you to experience winter all year round!

10. Après ski

Once the sun sets and you're off the mountain then the real fun begins. Après ski Wanaka style can be as sophisticated or simple as you like. Hang out at the food trucks, drink craft beer, head to a winery, eat at award winning Kika or head to a bar and swop tall stories about neck deep powder.
