Tasks at these volunteer sessions vary depending on the season. They include propagation of native plants, nurturing the young plants growing at the nursery, transplanting plants, watering, preparing the planting sessions, etc. No specific skills or experience required as the sessions are guided by our Nursery Manager.
Venus coffee, tea and snacks will be provided for all volunteers and you also get the chance to soak in the views on the deck.
Times:
- Autumn / Winter April 1 – September 30: 1pm – 4pm
- Spring / Summer October 1 – March 31: 9am – 1pm
Access to the nursery is through the QEII Reserve, either through the gate or over the nursery stile. You will find some directions here to come to the nursery.
