Disc golf

Wānaka has two disc golf courses – one 18 hole course at Lismore Park and another 9 hole course at Eely Point. The newest frisbee golf course at Lake Hawea is by the Gladstone Track and is marked with a stone marker. All you need is a frisbee – happy golfing!

Feed the fish and eels at The Wānaka Wharf

Take the kids down to the wharf on the lakefront and if you look into the water at the end you’ll be impressed by the size and number of trout and native eels. For $2 you can buy fish food from Wānaka i-SITE Visitor Centre, but remember – this is a no fishing zone!
